Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Account Manager – Health & Life Insurance to serve as a primary point of contact for existing clients. This role is centered on client retention, renewals, policy servicing, and relationship development — not cold calling or high-pressure sales.

The ideal candidate enjoys guiding clients through coverage decisions, managing renewals proactively, and identifying opportunities to strengthen client protection when appropriate.

This is a salaried role with performance-based bonuses tied to retention and account growth.

What You’ll Do

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and consistent point of contact
  • Guide clients through renewals and policy changes
  • Provide proactive communication before renewal deadlines
  • Ensure clients clearly understand their coverage and options
  • Deliver timely, responsive service that builds long-term loyalty

Policy & Renewal Management

  • Manage health and life policy implementation
  • Oversee renewals, documentation, and compliance
  • Maintain accurate and organized client records
  • Track policy timelines and follow up proactively

Account Growth & Cross-Support

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen client coverage when appropriate
  • Educate clients on additional solutions that fit their needs
  • Support team growth through relationship-based account expansion
  • Participate in occasional networking or educational events

Administrative Coordination

  • Maintain detailed CRM documentation
  • Schedule appointments and manage follow-ups
  • Support internal workflow processes and organization

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Health & Life Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional phone presence and active listening ability
  • High attention to detail and time management skills
  • Organized, dependable, and client-focused
  • Comfortable managing multiple accounts simultaneously

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $44,000 – $48,000 (DOE)
